The Marketing Director will be located in a given trade area and work for one or more specific Chick-fil-A Units by directing marketing/public relations. The Marketing Director is hired by and reports directly to the Operator and General Manager of the Chick-fil-A Restaurant.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with the Operator, Operations Director, and General Manager to Develop comprehensive communications and monthly marketing plan.
  • Proactively develop relationships with external audiences (community and opinion leaders, media, third-party constituencies, influencers, etc.) and Building relationships within the community
  • Write and distribute communications materials
  • Executing the marketing plan while following company guidelines and Monitoring effectiveness
  • Distributing promotional materials and coupons at community events, distributing food and catering menus to local businesses, setting up cross-promotions and school programs, as well as involving Chick-fil-A in community-wide events and Tracking redemptions
  • Set up and execute in-store Sampling and events
  • The job responsibilities enable the Marketing to have a flexible work schedule. Specific hours vary depending on the task to be accomplished, including Saturdays.
  • Use of a personal vehicle is required for community-related work. Mileage reimbursed.
  • Operational Proficiency, overtime, and operational work hours required.
  • Strong Knowledge of Social Media and School Systems Required

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Age of 21+ years old for this job
  • 2- or 4-year College Degree
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Self-motivated go-getter with a positive attitude
  • Deadline-orientation and initiative in taking on new tasks and projects
  • Able to seek out information and solutions to problems
  • Strong Knowledge of Community Relations and School Fundraising Dynamics
  • You will be required to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Strong email correspondence skills including use of outlook Graphic design Skills (Adobe, Canva, Publisher, Photoshop ect.)
  • Area Budget Management Strong understanding of the Digital space today
  • Valid state driver’s license, Vehicle with current registration and insurance
  • Up to date smartphone and or camera
  • Ability to Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner (telephone, email and social media)
  • Ability to Manage and create content for social media outlets (Instagram, Facebook, and review sites)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing,Communications or Related Field
  • 2+ Years Previous Marketing Experience
  • 2+ Years Event Planning Experience
  • 1+ Years Social Media Management
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Open Availability
