Job Summary

As Marketing Director, you will be a key member of our executive team, reporting directly to the CEO and overseeing all aspects of our marketing strategy and brand evolution. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Architect & Execute Marketing Strategy: Align with the goal of expanding market share within the Fortune 500 segment.
  • Market Research: Understand the target market, competitors, and trends.
  • Brand Strategy: Define and establish the brand's identity, values, and positioning.
  • Product Positioning: Craft messaging that resonates with the audience and differentiates the product.

Process & Procedures

  • Marketing Plan Development: Create a comprehensive marketing plan outlining goals, strategies, and tactics.
  • Budget Management: Allocate budget effectively, ensuring a good ROI.
  • Operational Framework: Develop processes for campaign planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Data Analytics: Develop data-driven insights to identify market opportunities and optimize marketing performance.
  • Digital Transformation: Enhance the marketing technology stack to drive digital transformation.

Content & Communication

  • Thought Leadership: Lead the development of sophisticated thought leadership content that positions the company as an industry expert in equipment finance.
  • Compelling Narratives: Create compelling narratives around the value proposition that resonate with C-suite decision-makers.

Building the Team

  • Hiring & Training: Assemble a talented marketing team and foster their professional growth.
  • Manage & Mentor Team: Oversee the growing marketing team while managing external agency relationships.

Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Lead Generation: Drive campaigns to attract potential customers through various channels (digital, social, events, etc.).
  • Customer Engagement: Create strategies for customer retention and loyalty.

Networking & Partnerships

  • Industry Contacts: Build and manage relationships with key industry partners, including marketing agencies, media outlets, and industry associations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors for marketing services.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop account-based marketing programs for key targets.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with industry developments and incorporate new techniques.
  • Crisis Management: Be prepared to handle any public relations issues swiftly and effectively.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in financial services, equipment finance, or related industries
  • Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth
  • Experience marketing complex financial products to enterprise-level clients
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience with marketing analytics platforms
  • Excellence in executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA w/ Marketing emphasis preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $150,000-$175,000
  • Performance Bonus: Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 15%, bringing the total compensation range to $172,500-$201,250
