About the Marketing and Communications Director: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing and Communications Director to lead and execute the organization’s marketing initiatives, with a hybrid in-office work schedule. This role requires a dynamic professional with experience in email marketing, written communications, list management, social media strategy, content creation and management, event promotions, and website maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing a marketing and communications plan, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The role will support the Zalik Foundation and The Dupree, an affiliated conference center and educational programming organization. Responsibilities: Email Marketing and List Management: Develop email communications protocols and individual marketing plans for various event types that range in size, target audience and purpose. Manage contact lists in HubSpot CRM system, ensuring contacts are properly entered and tagged to be utilized for future marketing purposes. Creative & Content Development/Management: Ensure all digital and print materials are well designed, easy to read and may require creating, or working with contractors to create, high-quality visual content using Adobe Creative suite, Canva, and creative tools within HubSpot and EventBrite. Assist with any requests for written communications, as needed. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance visibility. Maintain Dupree website content for optimal user experience. Digital Marketing & Social Media: Execute email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp and HubSpot. Create strategic social media presence for the Zalik Foundation and the Dupree, while implementing social media strategies to align with organization and individual event goals. Manage digital presence across social media, web, and mobile platforms. Engage with audiences, foster repeat attendance, and create compelling content using Canva and similar tools. Analyze data on program attendance, web and social traffic to inform and adapt marketing strategies. Recommend key marketing metrics to track and report on and provide regular updates on agreed upon metrics. Oversee relationships with marketing and communications contractors and vendors, including graphic design, web development, and promotional items. Administrative and Organizational Support: Organize and maintain a digital asset library for marketing materials. Stay informed about emerging marketing trends and tools. Support internal communication and organizational marketing needs. Qualifications & Requirements: Comfort with mission to strengthen Jewish life and support a thriving Israel. 7-10 years of experience supporting the communications needs of a non-profit, corporate or government entity. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Experience in the Jewish community (professional or as a volunteer) is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects and work with assertive personalities. Expertise in marketing, communications, social media, and email marketing design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, HubSpot, and Canva. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Exceptional project management, multitasking, and organizational abilities. What You will Receive: Competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 depending on experience. A complete benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
