Reporting to the Associate Director of Product Marketing, Venmo, this role will help develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Venmo's expanding portfolio of products. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, cross-functional collaborator with a passion for consumer products, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of user behavior. The role is highly cross-functional in nature, as you will work closely with Venmo's Product, Commercial, Marketing, and Design teams to drive product user adoption and ensure a seamless customer experience.Job Description:"Just Venmo me." In this role, as a Product Marketing Manager at Venmo, you will be responsible for helping craft product marketing vision and narrative by partnering closely with cross-functional teams on both inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives to deliver on Venmo's strategic goals.Your way to impactAs a Product Marketing Manager at Venmo, you will play a key role in shaping how consumers and merchants discover, engage with, and benefit from Venmo's suite of products. You will focus on developing compelling value propositions, planning and executing impactful go-to-market plans, and optimizing product marketing initiatives to drive user adoption and engagement. Your day-to-dayProduct Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging for Venmo products. Ensure that product messaging aligns with user needs and differentiates Venmo from our competitors. Go-to-Market Execution: Support product launches and feature rollouts with holistic marketing campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and adoption. Partner with Marketing, Growth, and Product teams to execute go-to-market plans across paid, owned, and earned channels. Market Insights & Competitive Analysis: Work with Consumer Insights to conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior, trends, and competitive positioning. Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations to inform marketing strategy and product development. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Design, Commercial, and Consumer Insights teams to align on roadmap priorities and market needs. Act as the voice of the customer in product development discussions, advocating for the wants and needs of those who use our products. Performance Measurement & Optimization: Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the impact of product marketing initiatives. Partner with Marketing Analytics to optimize campaign planning and execution, based on data-driven insights. What do you need to bring-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 6 years of product marketing experience, preferably in tech, fintech, or consumer digital products. Strong ability to translate complex product features into simple, compelling messaging. Experience developing go-to-market strategies and executing product marketing campaigns. An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market research and consumer insights. Exceptional communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Design teams. Passion for consumer products, culture, and the evolving digital payments landscape.
