Distribution Operations Team:
The Distribution Operations team delivers content and supporting components for Disney's incredible global streaming services and brands - from Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, National Geographic, ABC and ABC News, Walt Disney Studios, and Disney Channels. This team impacts the way millions of people around the world experience and engage with Disney's iconic stories and unmatched content in more personalized and immersive ways.

Role Overview:
The Content Operations Associate is responsible for artwork and metadata package management including ordering, delivery, readiness and remediation for Disney+ and Hotstar. This role will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across Disney+, Hotstar, and the broader Walt Disney Company, managing ordering, delivery planning, readiness checks, and delivery of Artwork & Metadata Packages. This role will report directly into the Manager, Distribution Ops - Artwork and Metadata Operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Artwork and Metadata teams on title readiness to ensure title is packaged with all required OV and Localized components.
  • Manage Artwork and Metadata ordering, packaging and delivery process according to timelines set per title for seamless sunrise.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including title progress trackers, templates, SLA Documentation and reports on overall AMP delivery status.
  • Work with Content Platforms teams on system enhancements and to remediate system issues as needed.
  • Effectively communicate project and title level updates cross-functionally and with our internal and external partners, raise risks/concerns and provide potential solutions as needed.
  • Provide support to in-territory Distribution Operations teams and vendors to facilitate access, technical support needs, training and onboarding.
  • Coordinate marketing and brand initiative ordering and planning for Artwork and Metadata deliveries such as marketing stunts, seasonal and title specific events.
  • Coordinate timing for artwork refreshes and Coming Soon page deliveries which are on more accelerated timelines.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment where change is the norm.


Requirements:
  • 3+ years content operations experience in digital/entertainment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with metadata and artwork components and delivery via supply chain.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a willingness to pivot as needed.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Exceptional data and project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a regular cadence to wide audiences on overall project health.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Global mindset, sensitive to other cultures.
  • Comfortable using various data management systems and tools.
  • Ability to solve for the short term while constantly thinking of sustainable long-term plans.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Personal affinity for the brands and franchises of The Walt Disney Company.
  • Experience with international expansion and digital platform launches.
  • Streaming service experience.


Compensation:
The hiring range for this position in California is $77,900 to $95,100 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
