Who We Are: The Research Communications team supports the university’s research mission through clear, professional, and consistent communication. We design and produce materials that showcase research initiatives.
What We Do: We manage creative projects across multiple platforms, including:
- Graphic design – Creating print, digital, and multimedia materials.
- Branding and creative identity – Ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
- Event and presentation materials – Designing layouts, signage, and graphics for research events.
- Multimedia and web content – Managing visual content for division websites and communications.
- Collaboration and consultation – Working with university units and vendors to produce high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute design projects that enhance the university’s research communications.
- Manage projects, timelines, and budgets to meet deadlines.
- Work with stakeholders to translate communication goals into clear visual content.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years professional experience in graphic design, marketing, or art/creative direction.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Project management from conception to delivery in a timely manner and on budget.
- Experience in brand implementation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in graphic design.
- Experience managing brand identity and creative strategy.
