We are seeking an experienced business development leader to drive Fashion Strategy and brand recruitment for top brands and our most critical growth initiatives.

This leader must have proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. A proven record of driving category growth is essential. This individual must be an effective driver and communicator in working with some of Amazon.com’s most important future vendors as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.

As a customer-obsessed fashion enthusiast, you will influence and build relationships with top brands to drive revenue, increase selection, and influence the broader Fashion strategic roadmap. You are deep on retail trends and understand how retail fits into the online ecosystem. Using your deep knowledge of retail and fashion and a solution-oriented mindset, you will develop opportunities for Amazon within the Fashion vertical. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively with cross-functional teams. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and possess a track record of successful negotiation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional or military experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
