Univision Dallas is looking for a Multimedia Technician to join our team!
Univision Dallas is seeking a creative Multimedia Technician tasked with the development and production of content for news, sports, and commercials for TV, radio, digital, and local events. Primary job responsibilities include coding and assisting with the technical execution utilizing the Ross Overdrive Automated Production Control Environment.
This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to edit and create multimedia (video/graphics/audio), manipulate creative artwork, and perform camera work in studio and on the field. Direct during live broadcasts and work with news producers to create and review graphic rundowns for live broadcasts among other technical requirements in the control room. Applicants must have a good understanding of broadcast design and multimedia technologies. Candidates need to take projects from start to finish under minimal supervision and possess knowledge of content production for linear, digital, and social/emerging platforms. Most importantly, the ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be proactive, and work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
- The Multimedia Technician is responsible for providing technical production and promotional support for live broadcasts, news, and commercial productions including TV, radio, digital, and local events.
- Collaborate with editorial and technical personnel to produce high-quality content.
- Operate robotic cameras and video shading controls.
- Set up and maintain studio equipment and lighting.
- Create and utilize templates to automate production functions including technical directing, audio mixing, video playback, and graphic insertion.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work with tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well under extreme deadlines and multi-task to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
- Experience with Ross Overdrive Production Automation or similar.
- Experience with advanced production switcher operation and setup, manual and automated graphics play out, robotic camera operation, and playback server operations.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition).
- Experience with professional camcorders and DSLRs (Canon, Panasonic, and Sony).
- Knowledge of field production lighting, audio recording, green screen, and studio production environments.
- Experience with iNews, VizRT, vCreative, Smartsheet, and news gathering tools is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proficient in written and oral Spanish and English.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be willing to work from the office in Dallas, TX.
- Employment/education will be verified.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, edit, reach, and sit for up to (8) hours.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
