What is the Restoration Shack?

Supports vulnerable adults by providing meaningful activities including woodwork, sewing, upholstery, upcycling furniture, making planters, etc.

The role involves:

• Researching funding opportunities, writing compelling and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate the organisation's goals, objectives, and impact to potential funders.
• Reviewing proposals to ensure they are clear, concise, and free of errors.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information related to funders and organisational strategies.
• Collaborating with the charity to assess the impact of successful funding and share success stories with funders.

Skills and Experience Desired:

• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience of bid writing is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
