Packaging Designer
A leading provider of consumer electronics and accessories is seeking a Senior Package Designer to join its team. With a strong presence in multiple locations across the U.S. and internationally, the company specializes in developing innovative products and licensed brands sold through major retailers.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining compelling packaging for company-owned brands and private-label products. This role requires expertise in graphic design and packaging production to create high-quality assets for mass-market retail. The ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality packaging designs that align with brand and retail guidelines.
- Develop dielines, digital and print mockups, and 3D renderings.
- Ensure packaging remains innovative while adhering to brand standards and retailer-specific requirements.
- Communicate product messaging effectively through packaging design and copy.
- Maintain technical packaging specifications and prepare final print-ready files for production.
- Collaborate with vendors, factories, and agencies to ensure quality execution.
- Work efficiently within tight timelines and meet critical deadlines.
- Act as a subject matter expert on packaging design, materials, and production processes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in packaging design with a strong understanding of branding and graphic design principles.
- Expertise in packaging structure, dieline creation, and preparing files for production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to conceptualize, design, and execute packaging solutions.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with working on licensed brands and following strict brand guidelines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide creative solutions.
