Job Title: Revit Designer/BIM Designer

Job Description

In this role, you will initially work with and be mentored by experienced consultants. Your initial assignments will include client presentations, developing technical criteria, forming probable opinions of costs, taking meeting minutes, writing memorandums, creating specifications, and conducting assessments. The successful candidate will assist various company project managers with selecting, recommending, evaluating, and researching alternate systems or products for implementing security systems design and will provide ongoing support for our clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Create probable opinions of costs, meeting minutes, memorandums, specifications, and assessments.

  • Assist project managers with selecting, recommending, evaluating, and researching alternate systems or products for security systems design.

  • Provide ongoing support for clientele.

  • Conduct field verifications and site visits as necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with BIM from school or a professional setting.

  • Proficiency in construction document design and drafting.

  • Technical skills related to security design.

  • Proficiency in Revit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with BIM from a professional or academic setting.

  • Experience with on-site verifications.

  • Experience in designing security systems.

Work Environment

Our client is a leading, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm with a collaborative community of over 800 employees. Recognized in the Top 20 Engineering Firms and Top 3 Science and Technology Firms since 2000 by Building Design + Construction Magazine, the firm offers a dynamic work environment where every day is different. The security team is small, providing unlimited growth opportunities and the ability to take on various tasks. The team completes security design, on-site field verifications, policy procedures, security training, and business development/marketing presentations. The role involves 20% travel, with projects located from California to Boston, requiring 2-3 night stays. The team is fully remote, but candidates have the option to work in the loop office with a hybrid schedule or use a satellite desk.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65/hr.
