Career Services Associate - Bronx Library Center (P/T)Department: Branch Services & ProgramsEmployment Type: Part TimeLocation: Bronx Library CenterReporting To: Louisa TatumCompensation: $25.00 / hourDescriptionOverviewThe Career Services Department (CS) provides career development support for a diverse population within New York City, including job seekers, re-entry, students, career changers, veterans, and 55+ adults, to achieve their career goals. Offering free one-on-one coaching and workshops that focus on the different aspects of job search and career development. Career Services has two offices, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, and the Bronx Library Center.The BLC Associate serves as a welcoming and informative first-point-of-contact for patrons visiting Career Services at the Bronx Library Center (310 East Kingsbridge Rd.) to ensure members remain engaged and are connected with services to meet their needs. The Associate works in tandem with Career Services staff to ensure the smooth execution of a range of NYPL/Career Services programs and outreach service events.
