As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fitness studio, member engagement, new member acquisition, staffing, and ensuring the overall business is running smoothly. This is a key leadership role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, strong people leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

FITNESS STUDIO MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and fitness coaching team. The individual in this critical position must have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. As the lead for the sales function, the Studio Manager must execute a lead generation/marketing strategies, plan to increase fitness program sales, as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. we are looking for a person who exhibits a high-caliber approach to leading, business development, and staff development.

COMPENSATION
  • $69,000 - $88,000
  • With Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Bonus potential
QUALIFICATIONS
  • People Management Experience: 2-3+ Years (Preferred)
  • Sales Experience: 3+ years (Preferred)
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • - Manage and supervise all aspects of the studio's operations
    - Develop, implement strategies, and execute to drive sales and achieve revenue targets
    - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
    - Lead, supervise, and train staff members, including conducting interviews, employee orientations, and managing team performance.
    - Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans as needed
    - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
    - Oversee cash register operations and maintain accurate financial records
    - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives
    - Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
  • - Maintain inventory levels and ensure stock availability

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in retail management, fitness studio management, or a similar role with strong sales skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, train, and keep a team accountable and focus on hitting their goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills. and professional phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of sales management techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with cash register operations and basic account management principles
  • Ability to conduct interviews, employee orientations, and impliment continuing education and training.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work and function and lead in a team environment.
  • Flexible to work day with early mornings, evening, weekend hours - as needed to perform the role.
  • Health & Fitness minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred

OPERATIONAL DUTIES:
  • Enforce business practices, systems, and operational processes - both with team members and clients.
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service with a hospitality approach and mindset.
  • Provide effective decision-making skills relative to business and customer facing issues and needs.
  • Plan and promote special events for the studio monthly using effective business-to-business and community outreach events.
  • Responsible scheduling, reporting, payroll, and conducting staff performance reviews
  • Responsible for ensuring that the facility is exceptionally clean, maintained, and operationally sound
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Full-time of at least 40 hours per week in the studio and additional hours outside the studio. This is a position with flexible work hours as needed
