Technical Writer
Client: Refinery
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: Now- Long Term, ongoing

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining engineering design specifications, procedures, and guidance documents. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of engineering concepts and terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Creation: Develop, write, and edit engineering design specifications, procedures, and guidance documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Content Management: Organize and maintain a comprehensive document management system, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure technical accuracy in all documentation.
Review and Editing: Review and edit existing documents to improve clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy.
Standards Compliance: Ensure all documents comply with company and industry standards, including safety and regulatory requirements.
Training Materials: Develop training materials and user manuals to support the implementation of engineering procedures and specifications.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving documentation processes and implement best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of technical writing.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of engineering concepts and terminology.
