Job Title: Associate Director, Media Planning

Accountabilities:
Lead development of planning objectives and strategies that align with the client's marketing direction for assigned film titles
Full accountability for every aspect of assigned media plans
Understand implications of plan changes
Work with analytics to gauge media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
Work with media partners to bring forward first-to-market ideas
Work with GPD, US team and clients on projects such as spend projections and pacing
Lead and participate in workshops and creative brainstorm sessions
Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with team
Relationships & Communication:
Establish and grow a strong relationship with the client through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the client's basic business issues
Voice a strong POV, based on client objectives, media knowledge & communication goals
Steward relationships with media partners
Keep up to date with trends, product releases, etc within media industry and client's category
Effectively communicate with clients, internal leadership and direct reports
Negotiate effectively with media partners
Team:
Serve as a role model through example and support development of the team
Manage and mentor team, ensuring all team members are delegated work appropriately
Collaborate with the US leads to ensure consistency and information flow across the border
Collaborate with other AMDs to share and adhere to consistent processes
Accountable not only for his/her own work, but also for work delivered by the team
