Benefits and Compensation Full-time, 40 hours per week Annual salary: $83,000 Two weeks of paid vacation and one week of sick time 401(k) with employer matching (after one year of employment) Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (80% employer-paid premiums) Comprehensive discounts on products and services Position Overview The Creative Director, eCommerce reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborates closely with the Office Management Teams. This role is responsible for driving the success of OlympiaCoffee.com, overseeing both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) sales on Shopify Plus, and ensuring the integrity and excitement of the Olympia Coffee brand in the digital space. This position is a hybrid office and remote with at least one office in-person day at our HQ office in Olympia Washington. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Creative Director, eCommerce are organized into five core areas: 1. Strategic Growth Develop, design, and execute Olympia Coffee’s eCommerce growth strategy. Analyze and identify growth opportunities within the marketing funnel. Develop, test, and implement strategies for acquiring and converting visitors into new eCommerce and subscription customers. Manage product launch calendars and related marketing schedules. Track and report on eCommerce performance metrics, delivering actionable insights. Analyze marketing effectiveness, including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Return on Investment (ROI), and provide recommendations for improvement. 2. Website Development & Maintenance Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of OlympiaCoffee.com and related platforms. Ensure a seamless and best-in-class user experience for both retail and wholesale customers. Identify and troubleshoot bugs, defects, or inefficiencies in digital platforms. Implement updates, add or revise products, and continuously improve site performance. Research and integrate new digital marketing technologies and trends to enhance the website experience. 3. Email Marketing Develop and execute engaging email marketing campaigns aligned with overall marketing strategies. Manage and maintain the email subscriber list for optimal engagement. Adjust and optimize campaigns based on performance data and market trends. 4. Photography & Social Media Marketing Manage and maintain Olympia Coffee’s social media presence, ensuring at least three engaging posts per week. Create compelling on-brand imagery for digital marketing and promotional materials. Design and maintain branding elements for retail store signage, apparel, and other branded goods. Photograph new products for use on OlympiaCoffee.com, email campaigns, and social media. Organize and maintain a photo archive for easy access by the team. 5. Graphic Design Design and update marketing materials, including merchandise, labels, packaging, and promotional assets. Collaborate with the team to modify product design templates as needed. Maintain consistency in branding across all digital and print assets. Position Requirements 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an eCommerce or consumer-facing brand. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data-driven insights to improve performance. Proven experience driving eCommerce growth and performance marketing. Knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or experience working with e-commerce brands. Expertise in web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or related design and photography tools. Strong digital photography skills with experience composing compelling, on-brand imagery. Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, MailChimp, and other marketing/eCommerce technologies. Ability to manage third-party agencies, contractors, and internal resources effectively. This position is ideal for a creative, data-driven leader passionate about eCommerce, branding, and digital marketing.
