This position is responsible for leading and directing the core visual brand identity and strategy of the National Trust and ensures brand integrity across all media and platforms. The Creative Director collaborates with senior staff to advise, strategize, and execute solutions that meet required program objectives and priorities and fosters strong relationships with staff and vendors at all levels. Areas of work include: branding, graphics, communications, advertising, outreach campaigns, publications, website, email, social, image research acquisition and management, and production for print media and/or digital delivery. who is versatile and can transition from high-level strategy to detailed execution to define and implement the National Trust brand. Supervises and oversees Senior Graphic Designer position as well as outside agencies and vendors. Team player and partner
who has the ability to forge strong relationships and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to understand priorities and recommend solutions that will further extend the National Trust brand. Serves as member of the Marketing Leadership Team. Lead entire creative process
of projects, from initial project request to final design production and deliverable. Concepts and design solutions must be produced at a high level of competence and creativity on time and on budget. Oversee and direct visual brand identity and strategy
to ensure adherence to brand with oversight of all visual branding of the organization. This includes: Leading, managing, and executing projects from initial project request to final deliverables covering: Digital, Video, Print production (incl. postage/mailing). Generating creative briefs and setting schedules for all using Monday.com. Developing guidelines, templates, logos and stationery system and maintaining and updating files and communications on staff intranet. Detailed operator
who manages vendor relationships and budgets, shapes the process to drive efficiency, and oversees multiple projects simultaneously. This includes execution of most projects along with solicitation of appropriate designers, agencies, videographers, animators, printers, production, etc., setting contracts and pricing, and ensuring production schedules are executed on time and on budget. Ensures adherence to brand identity . Responsible for outreach and training
of staff to emphasize importance of brand materials and the usage of electronic templates on a regular basis. Responsible for all-staff communications regarding branding materials. Oversees business stationery systems
and directs development of new pieces as necessary. Recommends and awards print contracts as needed. Commissions photography
as needed and archives all assets using an image management system that allows all staff access. Oversees DAMs library vendor and contract. Participates in budget process , develops and recommends budget areas as required to meet creative needs of the organization. QUALIFICATIONS At least 10 years of professional experience, including experience with design and production of print and online communications and marketing materials in a service-oriented national nonprofit or corporate setting. Should also include experience with budgeting, staffing, supervision, and leading teams to generate high quality results. Demonstrated experience organizing, directing, and executing multiple digital and print production projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders across all channels including print collateral, websites, email, and social. Demonstrated proficiency with a Mac environment: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop applications; presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote; and Microsoft Office. Results driven self-starter. Ability to push through indecision to propose new ideas and deliver results. Proven ability to collaborate across divisions to implement processes and achieve results. Maintains productive relationships with multiple stakeholders. Experience to ensure that materials reflect an organization’s brand identity, diversity, and outreach goals required. Demonstrated success engaging historically underrepresented communities, constituents, and partners. Ties to culturally diverse affinity groups, professional organizations, or related associations are a plus. Bilingual language skills a plus. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including issue identification and prioritization. Advanced project-management skills, including project budgeting and planning. Ability to achieve results with little to no supervision. Ability to prioritize, multi-task efficiently, and respond to a high volume of ongoing requests in a timely fashion. Proven ability to continually develop skills related to use of rapidly changing technology and communications best practices. Advanced presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Entrepreneurial spirit and skill set essential. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment. Formal training in the field of graphic design/communications design or related field required. PAY & BENEFITS This is a full-time, exempt level position, eligible for full benefits, including health, dental and life insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, and 3+ weeks of vacation, plus sick time and holidays. Hiring Range: $105,000 - 115,000 per year
