What You Will Be Doing
: Configuring and maintaining Tableau Server Software Layer and System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance/Upgrades/patches). Working with management to develop sustainable processes to govern the continued rollout of the Tableau toolset. Changing management including software, hardware upgrades, patches. Monitoring server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements. Performance tuning. Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing). Facilitating change and innovation to legacy systems and processes. Utilizing expertise in information visualization and design to create and deploy new platforms and services for visualization initiatives. Creating/managing Groups, Workbooks, and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources, and Data Connections. Managing and supporting migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards) from development to production environments. Required Skills:

MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances. 8+ years' experience. Experience assisting in the documentation of requirements and specifications Experience developing required Tableau content reports and dashboards. Experience providing appropriate training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports and Tableau Desktop. Experience providing Hands-on training to a small subset of reporting individuals on a sustained basis with the intent to transfer report/dashboard development experience. API development experience, to assist in the development and deployment of custom Tableau extensions.
