Healthcare Proposal Writer
Corporate - Remote
Primary Responsibilities: Act as a proposal manager with project management support, research, and strategic input to the pursuit team to drive impact, differentiated content focused on the requirements as defined by the customer. Coordinate Proposal Team initiatives and projects to improve quality and efficiency of proposal development efforts. Revise content per team review feedback. Interview SMEs as necessary to understand the technical solution and record its features and benefits. Write draft original content that is compliant, clear and accurate. Collaborate with authors and Volume Leads on reviews and revisions of draft content. Review and rewrite proposal content for clarity: Identify confusing text or artwork, incomprehensible statements caused by missing material, discrepancies in meaning, and irrelevant or inappropriate material. If sections need to be rewritten for any reason, validate changes with the original author(s) or SME(s). If any inconsistencies are discovered that the proposal writer cannot fix themselves, they must reach out to the author(s)/SME(s) for clarification. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree is preferred. Five (5) years of Healthcare and or Health Services proposal writing. Must have experience and be well versed in Federal government proposals process. Proficient with Word (creating and editing documents). Excel (general spreadsheet navigation), Outlook (email and calendar) and PowerPoint (creating and editing slides/presentations). Must be able to meet firm deadlines. Requires occasional travel per business needs. Must be a US Citizen. Proposal writing experience with Department of Defense (DoD), Medical Health Services (MHS) and/or Veterans Affairs (VA). Able to write persuasively and clearly (writing sample will need to be provided). Excellent research capabilities. Potomac Healthcare Solutions offers the following benefits:
