The Director of Marketing Content will develop and execute content strategies that enhance the firm's brand and support business development efforts. The Director of Marketing Content will oversee the firm's website, marketing collateral, content strategy, digital marketing, and thought leadership initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with the firm's strategic goals, raise brand awareness, and resonate with clients.

Oversee the management and continuous improvement of the firm's website, ensuring it effectively communicates the firm's value proposition and supports client engagement.

Create and manage high-quality marketing collateral, including pitch and proposal material, that supports the firm's business development initiatives and strategic goals.

Lead the development and execution of digital marketing communications, including working with the marketing operations team on optimization and reporting.

Produce, manage, and advise attorneys on thought leadership content, including articles, white papers, podcasts, multimedia, and other client-facing publications.

Collaborate with attorneys and business development teams to create compelling content.

Ensure marketing content is properly organized, updated, and accessible in Foundation, including working with the Foundation support team on templates, systems, and processes to allow BD teams to quickly and easily generate pitch and proposal drafts on demand.

Ensure all content is consistent with the firm's editorial standards and compliant with the rules of professional responsibility.

Manage the marketing content team, including marketing content and digital content team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, digital marketing, and the legal industry.

Develop new approaches to drive client engagement and ensure our content is compelling and strategically aligned with the firm's goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven ability to distill complex legal concepts into clear, engaging content.

Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

Strong Microsoft skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in using templates and working with designers to adjust and develop new templates.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing and developing a team.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the firm.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in leadership positions in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.

Experience managing and developing a team.

Experience with website management and digital marketing, including SEO. Proficiency with WordPress and Vuture preferred.

Experience with Foundation strongly preferred.

Hiring Salary Range:

$225,000.00 - $245,000.00
