Summary of the position
The Graphic Designer is responsible for helping to lead the creative development and execution of final concepts and initiatives within our in-house marketing team with a focus on Digital. The role executes and inspires internal teams and clients with their creative vision, customer focus, and technological knowledge to deliver experiences that drive results.
Responsibilities
Develop strategically interruptive consumer-engaging creative solutions for the Sequoia brand and respective portfolio of brands for appropriate channels of communications. Collaborate closely with content strategists, email specialists, and project managers on project deliverables and timelines. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver on business objectives and scope of work. Build awareness of the competitive landscape and identify best-in-class executions within and outside of the category. Share insights into on-trend and future trends and technologies applicable to the finished product. Contribute to department operations, tracking jobs and inputs/outputs in a department workflow management tool. Requirements
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training or equivalent work experience required, Graphic/Digital Design or similar 3-5 years of creative development of digital campaigns with extensions into all channels of communication and distribution Strong digital platform experience and knowledge Strong presentation skills and the ability to share your vision with internal stakeholders. Vast understanding of digital strategies, best practices, and current and future trends to enhance client engagement. Experience leading creative/design projects for a national brand Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and appropriate software Preferred Skills/Experience
Financial Services experience preferred Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-starter with proven ability to multi-task Experience managing & mentoring team members Excellent presentation skills
