Job Overview

EAC Network is actively seeking a dedicated Family Communication Specialist (Bilingual preferred) to join our esteemed Home Base (Intensive) Program in a part-time role, offering up to 19 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver in-home, community, and office-based counseling services to support clients and their families in navigating crises.
  2. Facilitate family counseling sessions to enhance communication skills and strengthen familial bonds.
  3. Mediate and resolve interpersonal conflicts within the family setting.
  4. Partner with Case Managers to create customized service plans tailored to clients' needs.
  5. Research and coordinate supportive services by nurturing relationships with local hospitals and treatment providers.
  6. Maintain comprehensive client records, ensuring availability for oversight as required.
  7. Provide crisis intervention when appropriate.
  8. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and represent the organization at various meetings as requested.

Required Skills

  1. Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling; LMSW or LMHC credentials preferred.
  2. A minimum of two years of experience in family-focused work is required.
  3. Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential.
  4. Competency in collaborating with criminal justice, treatment, and mental health systems.
  5. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
  6. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software, are necessary for effective performance.

Qualifications

  1. Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is required, with LMSW or LMHC being highly preferred.
  2. At least two years of experience working with families is a must.
