Position Description: The Graphics Artist is responsible for creating visual content for various media platforms. This role involves designing graphics, illustrations, and layouts that align with the project's objectives and brand identity.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality graphics for websites, social media, and print materials.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements.
• Use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to produce and refine designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and design techniques.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Location:

• Primary Location: National Maritime Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Period of Performance:

• Base Period: 8 months
• Option Periods: Four 12-month option periods

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid (Combination of in-office and remote work)

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Additional Requirement: An undergraduate degree in graphic arts, or five (5) years of experience in graphic design, with knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and InDesign or equivalent software.
