Position: USASAC Personal Recovery Specialist III (PR SPC III)
Overview: The United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) oversees the Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiative and serves as the Executive Agent for the Army Security Assistance Program. As a Major Subordinate Command under the U.S. Army Materiel Command, USASAC operates across multiple locations. This contract provides Programmatic Support Services for Security Assistance (SA), FMS, and international programs, supporting U.S. Army-managed weapon systems and associated equipment throughout the entire FMS Life Cycle, from Case Development to Case Closure. The successful candidate will assist USASAC by conducting research, providing recommendations, and analyzing FMS case development and execution to meet customer requirements. This role requires experience with security assistance management procedures, weapon systems, technical coordination, cost and schedule management, and risk mitigation to ensure the timely delivery of operational and supportable systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides support for strategic, operational, and tactical level personnel recovery requirements and initiatives; projects and tracks program milestones and completion status; and assists with improving program efficiencies.
  • Develops briefings and assists with briefing execution.
  • Prepares cost and budget analyses and resource estimates as required, updates schedules, develops reports, responds to taskers, develops other required deliverables, and performs other related activities to improve overall operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the functional area for which expertise is required.
  • Possesses significant knowledge about the organization's structure and mission as well as industry trends and best practices for improving organizational and personnel recovery program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proficient with Power Point, Excel, Share Point, and other business operations tools.
  • Possesses functional experience in the discipline for which functional expertise is required.
  • Associates Degree required (Bachelor's preferred) in such disciplines as Operations Research, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Business/Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Education, Social Science, Strategic Studies, Foreign Policy, International Studies, Political Science, Liberal Arts, or other related discipline from an accredited training institution with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge closely related to the task.
  • Relevant DoD training and/or certifications desired.
  • Active Interim Secret Clearance or above is required at the time of hire.
