We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a passion for creating seamless and intuitive user experiences, and a strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, Jira, and Confluence. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product team, developers, and other stakeholders to design innovative, cohesive, accessible, and impactful digital products that delight users and meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design process from research and ideation through to final implementation for web and mobile first initiatives.

• Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs using Figma and Adobe Suite.

• Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.) to gather insights and define user personas.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend and backend developers, and other designers to ensure the final product is intuitive, and user-friendly.

• Produce and maintain detailed design documentation in Figma and Confluence, including design systems, user flows, and interaction guidelines.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a unified design system that promotes consistency, scalability, and accessibility.

• Advocate for design best practices and help establish standards across the organization.

• Use Jira for managing tasks, bugs, and sprint planning, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Requirements:


  • 6+ years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions. Please supply link to portfolio.
  • 3+ years building in Figma
  • Creates interactive prototypes with animations
  • Keeps designs organized and reusable
  • Understands the difference between frames and groups, and when to use each
  • Proficient with Auto Layout for desktop, mobile, and responsive designs
  • Can manage shared design libraries and version control
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and other design tools.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for task management, sprint planning, and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
  • Strong ability to create prototypes, wireframes, and interactive designs that align with mission and vision values.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, along side developers and the product team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead design initiatives and contribute to strategic discussions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Experience working on large-scale, complex web and mobile projects.
  • Knowledge of user research techniques, usability testing, and user journey mapping.
  • Experience with design systems and creating scalable, reusable components.
  • Built or maintained a design system in Figma
  • Basic understanding of accessibility best practices.
  • Ability to build or animate 3D models a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus but not required.
