Excellent employment opportunity for a Graphic Designer III in the Santa Monica, CA area. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Commercial Labeling Operations team as a Labeling Designer / Coordinator embedded within our Supply Chain department. As part of this opportunity, the incumbent will work with functional groups including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Packaging, and Manufacturing to develop requirements for labeling text. Additionally, the Experienced Labeling Designer / Coordinator will partner with Marketing and Regulatory to develop and finalize content and product branding elements of packaging & labeling for both the US and Global markets. Responsibilities:
Design and layout commercial final product labels. Coordinate review and approval workflows. Acquire print proofs from print suppliers. Review and approve print-proofs from print suppliers. Coordinate test printing of any new components as the need arises. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop labeling text requirements as well as content and branding. Experience:
MS / MA Degree and 2+ years of Packaging / Labeling and/or Project Management experience. BS / BA Degree and 4+ years of the aforementioned experience. Associate Degree and 5+ years of the aforementioned experience. High School Degree with 6+ years of the aforementioned experience. Experienced Pharma Packaging and Label Designer / Coordinator. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Strong background with FDA cGXP standards and regulatory requirements for packaging and labeling. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro). Ability to quickly resolve issues and communicate to team members effectively. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external customers. Experience effectively communicating the status of labeling tasks/projects. Ability to interface with C-level executives.
