Job Summary

The Event Services Technician is responsible for assisting with the floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment, focusing on delivering unmatched customer service to our guests and clients.

Essential Functions:

  1. Ensure all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
  2. Greet guests/clients before the event and provide clear instructions on how to operate equipment.
  3. Provide continued communication with clients to ensure the success of all events.
  4. Follow through on all client requests.
  5. Look for opportunities to enhance client’s events.
  6. Maintain accurate client event information within the Company’s business systems.
  7. Review daily invoices with clients and obtain client’s signature on invoice(s).
  8. Comply with all Company security and safety measures and be constantly aware of the property inventory and location of equipment to ensure it is secure from theft and/or damage.
  9. Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition.
  10. Report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately to management.
  11. Ensure all Company occupied areas are clean, organized, and up to Company standards.
  12. Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills, including audio, video/data, staging, computer operation, and networking.
  13. Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior exposure to audio-visual and/or hospitality industry.
  • Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking).
