POSITION SUMMARY:

The Specialist, Social Media Content Creator, is responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and publishing engaging social media content. This role plays a crucial role in shaping our brand voice across our social channels and growing our online community. The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller with a deep understanding of social media trends, strong visual and video skills, and a passion for content that resonates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and edit compelling, high-quality organic and paid social content tailored for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and others as needed.
  • Ideate, create, and coordinate the approval of platform-native social content that aligns with the brand strategy and responds to current trends.
  • Develop on-brand visuals and copy that align with the company’s voice and messaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and incorporate them creatively into the content.
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content optimized for social platforms.
  • Maintain a quick turnaround time on video projects to capitalize on trends and maintain engagement.
  • Contribute to social media strategy development with visual/creative insights from social media trends and insights.
  • Analyze platform performance metrics and audience insights to inform content creation and strategy.
  • Report on key metrics, insights, and recommendations for content improvements.
  • Participate in monthly strategy calls to discuss content planning and strategy.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting corporate/professional social media.
  • Deep understanding of all social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
  • Experience in creating original and remixed social media content, including short-form video.
  • Proficiency with in-app editing tools across platforms, including TikTok and CapCut.

  • Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn and use project management tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and movement.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location.

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
