Description

Academic book publisher is looking for an English-language commissioning/acquisitions editor for its Seville office. A degree in one of the social sciences or the humanities, excellent communication skills, ability to engage with and evaluate content and a good understanding of academic publishing are essential. Any of the following would be a strong advantage: native English speaker; previous work experience in the book industry; postgraduate qualification, research experience or academic publications; social media experience; knowledge of languages other than English and Spanish. A strong sense of professional responsibility and ability to deliver under pressure are required. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working exclusively in English.
