Position Overview

This role will work closely with our marketing and communication teams to support visual communication needs across various internal and external projects, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality design execution. This role will leverage graphic design expertise to create compelling content and visual assets that support our services and brand objectives. Your expertise will help to attract new clients, future recruits, promote projects, and enhance the firm’s brand presence in the industry by translating complex topics into compelling visuals. You will develop and execute branded materials, graphics, presentations, social media posts, recruiting collateral, reports, and other deliverables daily. You should also be well-versed in both still and motion design, effective presentation and communication strategies, have a natural graphic eye, and an outstanding ability to collaborate with a team. High level of skill with Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging marketing content for proposals, brochures, websites, social media, trade show collateral, advertisements, email campaigns, and recruiting. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and communicates our expertise effectively.
  • Graphic Design: Design and produce high-quality graphics for various marketing and communication materials. Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) to create visually appealing assets.
  • Motion Design: Conceptualize, design, and develop high-quality motion graphics and animations for a variety of platforms, including presentations, social media, website content, and corporate videos. Utilize software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Blender to create engaging motion elements that enhance visual storytelling and effectively communicate complex engineering concepts.
  • Digital Marketing: Support digital marketing efforts through the creation of visually compelling content for online platforms and assist in monitoring and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Event Coordination: Help design and execute promotional materials for company events, trade shows, recruiting fairs, and internal presentations.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. Use insights to inform and improve creative output.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of marketing materials and graphic designs. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed.

Skills + Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the A/E/C or technical sector.
  • Proven ability to handle a range of design, graphic, and animation tasks.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (OneNote, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects); strong communication (written, verbal, and copy-editing), team building, and relationship management skills.
  • Creativity: Ability to create visually compelling designs. Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders.

  • Must be able to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 5 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
