24 Seven is partnering with a well-known organization to help them find a Digital Media Manager to join their team in the Happy Valley area. This is a 4 week+ contract working 40 hours/week, with 2-3 days a week onsite.

Ideal Candidate: will have 2+ years of experience managing websites and social media and must be proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop); Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) as well as CMS systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all web communications which include all divisional websites.
  2. Review website content weekly and modify/update, as necessary.
  3. Adapt, edit, and write content for social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok), including Events and Stories pages, monthly Content Calendars, and more.
  4. Manage the day-to-day execution of social media messaging.
  5. Assess the implications, trends, and integrate gained information into overall social media strategy.
  6. Research and screen emerging web and social media technologies for recommendation.
  7. Develop and submit for approval digital promotional campaign ideas as well as counsel the Director of Communications and Marketing on effective digital and social media communication strategies.
  8. Creative development for marketing materials for print, web, and social media.

Qualifications:

  1. 2 years proven experience managing websites and social media, preferably for a non-profit.
  2. Acceptable: Certificate or Associate Degree in interactive communication, web design, or social media.
  3. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a field such as web design, interactive media, graphic design, multimedia, communication, journalism, or related field.
  4. Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for both print and web projects.
  5. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities to meet event-based deadlines. Acts as project lead for all web and social media projects.
  6. Must be proficient in computer programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop); Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher); familiarity with Content Management Systems and ability to learn proprietary publishing systems with a minimal understanding of visual HTML editors.
