Your Role...

We seek a Photographer to join our marketing team and help execute a wide range of images supporting all shopping channels, including web product pages, packaging, and print. Working closely with marketing, merchandising, and design, this role will help connect customers to our brands with images that focus on selling. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, productive, and organized with an experienced knowledge of photographic principles, lighting techniques, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with the marketing, web, product, and sales teams to develop and execute creative photography for online, print, and retail collateral.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ensure all images are properly named, optimized, and saved to production specifications for the proper sites.
  • Work in a studio environment with a high-volume workflow while being detail-oriented.
  • Exhibit strong photo editing skills and proficiency in Capture One and Photoshop.
  • Have strong photographic lighting and compositional skills with the ability to light products using various lighting techniques such as high key, low key, flat, and Rembrandt lighting.
  • Maintain the Blick web repository by manipulating, saving, naming, adjusting color, and compositing Photoshop images per the web guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in photography.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • High degree of skill in Adobe Photoshop using Mac platform.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results during high-volume production periods.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Collaborative skills with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong visual awareness and excellent color vision principles are essential.
  • Able to report to the in-office photo studio 5 days a week. Potential physical demands include, but are not limited to, lifting, standing for extended periods, maneuvering lighting equipment, and working on a computer for extended periods of time.

Pay Rate:

The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

  • $45,000-50,000 per year, negotiable based on experience, plus incentives.
