Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Conference Engineer/Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced video conference solutions, managing integrator communications, and creating custom video room designs. This role requires a deep understanding of video conferencing technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The candidate will be able to validate custom room designs, define our enterprise video standards, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in video conferencing technology. This role will work closely with other departments and our facilities teams to ensure video conferencing solutions meet organizational requirements.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Master’s in Science, Computer Science, Technology, Information Technology, Engineering or closely related field

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 4 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Expert knowledge of storage performance, data replication, storage area network (SAN) based backup, load balancing, storage virtualization methods, and SAN zoning and provisioning.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executive personnel/staff.
  • Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts and ideas.
  • Negotiate or exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or to arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions.
  • Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
  • Make presentations to persuade others to accept a specific opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
  • Encourage individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation in order to establish rapport and gain the trust of others or to listen perceptively and convey awareness.
  • Clear focus and dedication on customer service that influences all actions and decisions.

Pay Range is $58.95 to $88.43 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
