Overview
Designs, maintains, and optimizes cloud applications and mission-critical features, uptime, performance, object design, and developing new features of Nokē products.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain user interfaces for web applications and websites.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Build smooth UI experiences.
- Work within an Agile structure to build high-quality, robust features.
- Contribute to a Scrum team to ensure Quality, Stability, and Efficiency of releases.
- Design & implement features, APIs, test suites, or technology according to specifications, while keeping a strong customer focus.
- Identify internal/outside technologies and when/how to use them.
- Ensure high performance and availability and manage all technical aspects of the products.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver compelling user-facing products.
- Test and profile code written by self and others.
Qualifications
- Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment.
- Extensive knowledge of ReactJS.
- 8+ years of working experience in JavaScript-based front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications, designing and developing responsive websites.
- Extensive experience creating wireframes, interactive mockups, and visual designs.
- Proficient understanding and experience with consuming and interacting with RESTful APIs.
- Proficient understanding and experience with backend technologies like Golang, C#, Java, or Python.
- 6+ years of experience with SQL-based database technologies (SQL, MySQL, Postgres).
- 6+ years of experience with debugging code & fixing issues.
- Proficient understanding of Git or other similar repository technology.
