A growing, specialized, and OKC-Proud industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a
Control Panel Designer
to develop detailed electrical control panel designs for a variety of industry specific projects. This role focuses on creating precise CAD-based schematics, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Please note : this is an
on-site role. Control Panel Designer Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, CAD Design, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in control panel design or electrical design. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical components. Familiarity with UL508A, NEC, and IEC standards. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Previous experience in Control Panel Design applications in Water/Wasterwater Plants is a Plus!
Control Panel Designer Responsibilities:
Develop detailed
CAD designs and electrical schematics
for control panels based on project specifications. Create wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and
bills of materials
for production. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure
functional and efficient designs . Revise and update designs throughout the
project lifecycle . Ensure compliance with
industry safety standards and regulations . Provide
technical support
to installation and commissioning teams. Maintain design documentation and
ensure traceability . Troubleshoot and
resolve design-related issues
efficiently. Stay current on
advancements in CAD software
and best practices in electrical design.
