OVERVIEW A Senior CMF (Color, Materials, and Finish) Designer is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of the aesthetic elements in a product within the Stroller, ICS and Home Categories. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that color, material, texture, and finish choices align with both the brand and functional requirements each category of product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging materials, technologies, and finishes. Innovative thinking and ideation using such material as mood/trend boards, color palettes, and material prototypes for new designs Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand CMF needs on a product-by-product basis Procurement of materials and fabrics samples through various sources to maintain a fresh and on-trend product line Creating and maintaining specification packages for products Communication with outside design and engineering resources as Daily communications with overseas partners Review of samples and communication of changes and improvements Overseas travel to work with our suppliers and factories and potential domestic travel for conferences and trade shows 10% of time annually may be devoted to travel Independently manage multiple projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign (other comparable software also acceptable) Excellent 2D fashion rendering skills Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word In-depth understanding of textiles and textile/fashion trends as this makes up a large Percentage of this position Self-motivated to complete all tasks required of the job and high attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Passion showing an appreciation for strong aesthetics Some exposure to fashion design is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in industrial design, or related field 6+ years’ experience in CMF design This position requires the employee to be in the office
