We are seeking a Web Content Specialist to join our team in New Jersey. This role involves working on a variety of digital communications and marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on online and digital platforms. You will be involved in the development, implementation, and maintenance of content management systems, client relationship management platforms, and other digital management tools, all while adhering to the guidelines set out by the organization.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage web pages and sites, incorporating graphic user interface features that align with the organization's brand

• Aid in the construction and maintenance of crucial content management systems and client relationship management platforms

• Contribute to usability testing for new website projects, as well as the enhancement of existing websites

• Collaborate independently with marketing and communication team members to edit content, including news stories, social media posts, and photo captions that enhance brand messaging

• Edit and proof web copy, photos, and digital collateral for online communication purposes

• Create and distribute email communications, e-newsletters, and drip campaigns

• Design, develop, and optimize email templates

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or field
• Proficient in Web Content Management, with the ability to create, update, and manage online content
• Demonstrated skills in Copywriting, with the capacity to produce clear, concise, and engaging content
• Experience in Email Copywriting, with the ability to craft effective email marketing copy that drives engagement and action
• Proficient in creating Social Content, with an understanding of how to produce content that resonates with various social media audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in using various web content management systems and tools
• Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to content creation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
