Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering design projects, focusing on site drainage, grading, and infrastructure constraints
- Develop, modify, and review models, plans, and drawings using advanced Civil 3D functionality and CAD standards
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and sub-consultants to ensure successful project completion
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices
- Review and approve design elements and project deliverables before release
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, working closely with the Project Manager to meet deadlines
- Analyze and resolve technical project issues with minimal oversight
- Stay up-to-date on regulations from local, state, and federal agencies and apply them to projects
- Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all business interactions
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 10+ years of experience in CAD and Civil 3D software, with at least 5 years in detailed land development engineering
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
