Account Director, Business Leadership - Experiential Marketing New York, New York, United States WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Momentum Worldwide is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and dynamic Director of Experiential Marketing to be a key leader within our growing team. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and impactful brand experiences, events, and activations for a premier client in the business services sector. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute experiential marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex, large-scale programs while ensuring outstanding client satisfaction. The Director will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships, overseeing project execution within budgets and timelines, and continuously optimizing experiential strategies through performance analysis and audience insights. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES) Develop and execute premium and innovative experiential marketing strategies to elevate brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of immersive brand experiences, events, and activations aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, production, design, and creative technologies, to integrate experiential campaigns into the broader marketing ecosystem. Develop rapport with clients and their other agency partners by providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship & expectations, and troubleshooting conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise. Guide the team in identifying opportunities, strategic thinking, and subsequent development of integrated marketing programs across brand portfolios. On-strategy project planning and execution according to Agency standards within established budgets and timeframes. Analyze campaign performance and audience feedback, providing insights and recommendations to continuously optimize experiential strategies. Build, manage, and reconcile large scale event budgets and resourcing plans. Develop and deliver compelling client and new business presentations. Demonstrate working knowledge of Momentum’s core disciplines and be proactive in growing client business across the agency. Manage and mentor direct reports; fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, ongoing performance feedback, professional development, and adherence to agency policy. Understand internal processes, and client/agency operations (budgeting, resourcing, reporting, etc.) Support Momentum’s Values. All other duties as assigned. HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS) 8 years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Proven track record of delivering successful large-scale events and experiential campaigns. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong understanding of consumer behavior, brand storytelling, and audience engagement strategies. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing talent. SALARY RANGE The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
