Group Product Marketing Manager
to help us build and scale our new advertising solution, Quests. As the Product Marketing lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining the strategy and driving the roadmap for our advertising solutions, with a particular focus on mobile. You'll work hand in hand with our Sales and Product teams to scale processes as our team continues to grow and Quests expands into new verticals. If you’re a self-starter and team player that excels in a fast-paced environment and zero-to-scale projects, this is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our future and shape the direction of our new advertising business. This is a manager position with 2 direct reports to start. What you'll be doing: Drive the
product strategy, vision, and roadmap
for our advertising solution (Quests), with a focus on
mobile advertising products , in partnership with Product and Sales leaders. Lead core product marketing for Quests, defining the value propositions, positioning, messaging, and naming for our solutions, directly owning all key marketing surfaces such as the website, pitch deck, blog, help center, and internal wiki. Drive the measurement and attribution strategy and roadmap for our advertising products, in partnership with the Marketing Science team. Accelerate adoption and growth of our solution by driving the go-to-market strategy, including developing comprehensive sales enablement and training programs. Partner with the Business Marketing team to elevate Discord’s voice and thought leadership in the advertising, crafting narratives and messaging for our events and industry engagements. Champion the voice of the customer across the organization and foster a customer-obsessed culture at every level. What you should have: 8+ years of Product Marketing experience in the advertising space, ideally within scaled ad platforms,
with experience building mobile advertising products and owning direct response app ads solutions . 4+ years of experience in mobile performance or gaming advertising, with a deep understanding of app-based campaigns, optimization strategies, and the gaming industry. Deep understanding of the advertising space, including digital advertising ecosystems, ad tech platforms, and media buying strategies. Strong attention to detail with the ability to streamline and optimize the sales enablement process. Excel in ambiguous environments—excited about building new processes, business models, and scaling an advertising business from the ground up. Why Discord?
