The IS&T Communications and Engagement team informs and engages employees worldwide on everything from how to set up their work devices, what to do when theyre stuck with a technical problem, and whats new in IS&Ts innovative portfolio of products and services. We are looking for an outstanding Communications Specialist to handle projects for our global internal platforms and channels. This is a role for a creative thinker, skilled communicator, and collaborative problem solver who wants to have their hands in several projects at once; who can deliver strategy from concept to completion, and effectively work as part of a team.
**Description**
In this role, youll write instructional and troubleshooting content for IS&T Web. Youll work closely with stakeholders from engineering teams, the IS&T HelpLine, and other subject matters to figure out the right level of detail to empower Apples workforce to use internal tools and systems. Youll function as a strategist, working to understand the rollout of new systems, or changes to existing ones, and recommending a communications plan that uses multiple channels from Slack, to email, to video content. Most importantly, youll take these plans all the way from concept to execution. Youll also support internal communications for the IS&T organization from Town Hall meetings to Inside IS&T articles, and other communications that drive engagement and connect people to our organizations purpose and values.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Skilled at distilling complicated technical information into relatable and understandable communications for a wide audience
+ Strong customer focus
+ Ability to handle multiple writing projects on tight timelines
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
+ Meticulous attention to detail
+ Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, public relations or equivalent work experience

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $85,700 and $129,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs.
