KIFI Local News 8 is seeking a highly motivated dynamic and skilled Multimedia Journalist/Weekend Anchor to attract viewers through stories they enterprise. This position is located in Idaho Falls and will work with the area's number one news team.
The employee will be expected to perform live reporting in the field and bring enterprising story ideas to work every day.
Duties include gathering facts, writing, shooting and editing their own news stories for the web, TV and social media formats, maintaining contact with an assigned beat. Other duties would also include anchoring and producing newscasts for the weekend.
Qualifications include the ability to communicate, strong writing, and organizational skills, videography, video editing and have a good on-camera presence. A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication or related field is preferred.
