Summary: Assist with all community operations, supporting the Community Manager in maximizing occupancy and property values. Trained to assume Community Manager duties in their absence.


Responsibilities

  • Financial: Collect and post rents, make daily bank deposits, assist with evictions and utility cut-offs.
  • Personnel: Handle new employee orientation, maintain confidentiality of employee information.
  • Administrative: Ensure lease files are complete, assist with staff scheduling, conduct business per company policies.
  • Resident Relations: Maintain positive customer service, handle resident complaints, greet prospective tenants.
  • Maintenance: Inspect property regularly, update vacancy status, coordinate service activities.
  • Marketing/Leasing: Stay aware of market conditions, show property to prospective residents, review rental applications.
  • Safety: Complete property inspections and safety meetings, report workers’ compensation claims.
  • General: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation for site visits.
  • Basic knowledge of Multifamily Community Management and Fair Housing Regulations.
  • 2+ years of onsite community management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with Yardi is a bonus.
