Position: Civil Designer

Candidates must have experience with Civil3d 2023 or a newer software, experience with reading construction plans, and experience reading ALTAs and surveys.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Designer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and design, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Civil Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing detailed plans and designs for various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed plans and designs for civil engineering projects.

- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.

- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for project designs.

- Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.

- Ensure designs comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards.

- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.

- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design decisions.

- Identify and troubleshoot design issues and propose solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design technology.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering and design.

- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.

- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards.

- Experience with site visits and surveys is preferred.
