The ideal candidate for our Marketing Specialist position is a self-starter with excellent project management skills. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition through a variety of digital and traditional marketing channels. You will work closely with the other members of the marketing and sales teams to identify and implement growth strategies. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, creative, and results-driven, with a passion for scaling businesses.

Ideally, you will have a hunger for building end-to-end marketing campaigns, research, and relationship building. You need to have the ability to problem solve, be technically savvy with the aptitude to learn new programs and product offerings, with a focus on numbers and analytics.

  • Proven experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, paid social, ABM, email marketing, content marketing, and referral programs.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and CRMs such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with A/B testing and building/optimizing funnels.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Market research for industry trends, competitor trends, keyword research, customer buying patterns, PR outlets, industry awards, and tradeshows.
  • Manage partner/vendor communications by staying up to date on current promotions and determine opportunities to work together on projects.
  • Run marketing campaigns from content, execution, and reporting.
  • Own internal and external communications.
  • Act as a liaison between the marketing team and other internal teams.
  • Social media creation, management, engagement, and scheduling, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google reviews.
  • Track and coordinate communications for events.
  • Manage virtual and in-person events such as tradeshows and webinars.
  • Write case studies and project briefs.
  • Track action items from all team and regional meetings including follow-up to ensure completion.
  • Proofreading for all external and internal marketing materials.
  • Own the team editorial calendar.
  • Manage production schedules for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with launches in new territories, markets, and offices as our company footprint grows.
  • Vendor management for platforms such as website, marketing CRM, Social, and SEO.
  • Manage the various marketing email address inboxes by responding and keeping up with requests from employees and customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, organizational, and oral communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Monthly reporting for initiatives and team results.
  • Experienced Project Manager.
  • Event and activation experience or interest in learning.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools.
  • No task too large or small.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy Development: Design and execute scalable growth strategies across digital channels (e.g., paid ads, email marketing, SEO, content marketing, etc.) to drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Data Analysis & Experimentation: Use data analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, run A/B tests, and optimize campaigns for better outcomes. Constantly iterate based on insights from data to improve conversion rates and reduce customer acquisition costs.
  • Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement campaigns for acquiring new customers leveraging new and existing paid media, partnerships, and sponsorships.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Build and execute strategies for onboarding, nurturing, and retaining users through targeted email campaigns while working alongside Customer Care.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the Marketing and Customer Care team to optimize the user journey and create seamless experiences for our customers.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization: Work closely with Sales and Customer Care to align growth efforts and drive lead generation strategies that convert effectively.
  • Market Research & Trends: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging growth tactics to ensure RJ Young remains a market leader.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

The employee will have to work in an office environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role with standard work hours of approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Travel

Some travel will be expected in this role, but it is 10% or less.

Required Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

Preferred Education and Experience

2-4 years’ experience in digital marketing or related field.
