Job Description:

The Social Media Manager (contractor) will assist with driving social media and marketing efforts.

This is a contract role for 6 months with the possibility of extending up to a year.

• Work schedule: 9:00 am EST 5:00 pm EST

Key Responsibilities:

- Plans, creates and curates engaging social posts with content that educates and

inspires our audiences across social media platforms.

- Drives day-to-day efforts for the social media content library for associates, including content creation and maintenance (35+ articles/month), user growth and support (i.e., business training), as well as creates a regular cadence of communications to a broad network of users.

- Assists with the creation and execution of social media campaigns, helping

- Monitors, analyzes and reports on social media activity, driving actionable insights for channel and content optimization.

- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with overarching business goals and messaging. Manages approvals and feedback from key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in social media management, with experience working in a highly regulated environment a plus

- Excellent copywriting, editing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail

- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines

- Experience with project management and content management software

- Proficiency in social media tools, platforms, best practices and trends

- Experience with Microsoft Office

- Familiarity with AP Style a plus

- Portfolio showcasing successful social content samples

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
