At Whisker, life together just keeps getting better.Whisker is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan and Juneau, Wisconsin with 700+ passionate team members.What You'll Do:The Affiliate Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in advancing Whisker's affiliate marketing program and driving the company's next stage of growth. This role will focus on building and managing strategic partnerships to increase sales and brand awareness, while supporting the development of new initiatives to expand Whisker's reach including managing day-to-day partner communications, developing strategic relationships, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams across Whisker's domestic and international markets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary. Builds and manages a pipeline of new affiliate partners, focusing on niche and high-impact opportunitiesDevelops tailored outreach strategies to onboard and activate these partnersOversees day-to-day operations, ensuring campaigns align with growth targets and delivers strong ROICommunicates regularly with affiliates, gathers feedback to improve the program, and maintains a strong Whisker tone of voiceDesigns and executes campaigns or promotions to activate affiliates and drive engagementResearches and tests new marketing initiatives, reporting results and identifying optimization opportunitiesConducts research on industry trends to uncover unique partnership opportunitiesGenerates actionable reports to track affiliate performance and contribute to strategic adjustmentsRegularly reviews affiliate content to ensure adherence to Whisker's brand and trademark guidelinesCollaborates with the influencer team to manage creator links and report on campaign performance metricsSupports cross-functional projects and submit tickets in project management softwareWill perform additional responsibilities when required RequirementsWhat You'll Bring:BA in Marketing field and/or equivalent years of experience2+ years of direct affiliate management experience, including managing campaigns and scaling affiliate programsExperience with Performance-minded Public RelationsExperience working cross-functionally with teams such as international, brand, retail, or influencers to align initiativesComprehensive knowledge of key affiliate platforms (e.g., Impact, Partnerize, Rakuten, CJ, Awin)Solid understanding of the acquisition funnel, performance marketing KPIs, and profitability leversTechnical expertise in digital performance marketing (SEO, CPA, ROAS, etc.)Proven ability to solve problems, self-motivate, and think strategicallyExperience working with a variety of affiliate types (e.g., online creators, bloggers, media outlets, media buyers)Strong client and team leadership qualities with the ability to build rapport and negotiate profitable partnershipsAdvanced spreadsheet and analytics skills, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insightsExceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalOperator mindset: understands and prioritizes key metrics to drive measurable resultsHighly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectivelyCollaborative team player, comfortable working across departments in a remote environmentMaintains confidentiality of proprietary informationAbility to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptionsA high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate othersAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleaguesComfortable with office pets (cats, dogs) Benefits & Purrks: Join a tenacious, inventive company that empowers team members to chart their own path, lead by grounding decisions in the "why", and has a strong sense of empathy and openness to new perspectives.
