Job Summary

Salary + Bonus + many other benefits. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for various and sundry duties either directly or tangentially related to advertising, branding, and marketing for the law firm. The goal of this position will be to effectively & professionally accomplish assigned tasks such as, but not limited to: content review (online & print); data capture & consolidation; digital directory optimization; event coordination & planning; internal online review assistance; invoice review & reconciliation, online marketing initiatives; out of home (OOH) advertising, project management, promotional product fulfilment; social media monitoring and content posting, and vendor management.

Candidate must be extremely detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while having an affinity and experience in creating branded corporate content. To be successful in this role, the candidate will be required to research, create, coordinate, disseminate, and engage across all facets of advertising and marketing that the law firm is utilizing. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys multi-tasking within a dynamic environment and can face challenges with creativity and objectivity.

Essential Job Functions

  • Create/manage engaging social media content (e.g. messaging, photography and videos) for relevant platforms such as: Facebook/Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube.
  • Assist in firm’s reputation management efforts and strategies to enhance online reviews.
  • Ensure all efforts and messaging are consistent with the values and voice of the law firm.
  • Independently coordinate sponsored events, including overseeing logistics, creating itineraries, managing registrations, ordering marketing collateral, and interfacing with vendors.
  • Ability to review and reconcile invoices from a litany of different vendors and identify anomalies.
  • Work with vendors to obtain quotes and manage deliverables prior to deadlines.
  • Assist and implement Social/Digital marketing strategies for various legal practice areas.
  • Manage and monitor Google Business Profiles, online directories and various social networks.
  • Upload content into Word Press, including photos and other non-text content.
  • Work with attorneys to enhance their bios and update their online profiles.
  • Be responsible & meet deadlines in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
  • Report and analyze insights derived from digital tracking tools.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

  • Prefer at least 3 years of experience in an advertising/marketing capacity.
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and advertising tools.
  • Self-motivated, multi-tasker with the ability to keep all of the plates spinning.
  • Experience using software for simple graphic design work or photo editing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written, proof-reading, and verbal communication skills.
  • Analysis-minded with a focus on metrics and attention to detail.

Education, Experience & Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Google Business Suite strongly preferred.
  • Consumer Fusion or similar review management platform experience a plus.
  • Hootsuite or similar social media management platform experience a plus.
  • WordPress familiarity to be able to edit/upload content.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and to interact effectively with others.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, move, or carry up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • Typical office environment that may include prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Ability to navigate various departments and locations across the company.
  • Ability to use technology including entering text, data, or information into a computer system.
  • Must be able to meet domestic travel needs up to 10% of the time.
