THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO MANAGER

As a Studio Manager (SM), you live your power by delivering the world class CorePower Yoga experience including leading the operations of a yoga studio, coaching and inspiring the CPY classroom experience, creating a premium sensory in-studio yoga experience (clean and safe) for the community, and training a team of world class yoga instructors and mindful leaders. You build, grow, and lead a team of teachers and studio experience team members who collectively deliver CPY-winning and foster a Core Values culture.

Health and Safety Management in The Studio

  1. Lead, execute and train all current CPY Smart Health Protocol and CDC guidelines in studio.
  2. Take ownership in the functionality of your studio and act as a liaison between the Studio Support Center facilities and IT teams.
  3. Work with your Studio Coordinator to maintain an appropriate level of studio supplies.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience

  1. You are an ambassador of the CPY Core Values and consistently inspire others.
  2. Commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week primarily in studio.
  3. Teach a minimum of 6 aligned CPY5 classes per week.
  4. Your leadership sets the tone for the studio’s culture.
  5. Support training and facilitation of CPY programming.

Leading the Studio Team

  1. Own all processes related to the day to day operations of the studio.
  2. Responsible for communicating all CorePower Yoga policies to staff members.
  3. Consistently develop, recruit, hire and retain a Core Values driven studio team.
  4. Train, develop, and provide routine feedback to your Studio Coordinator(s).
  5. Own staffing for your studio’s class and SET schedule.

Grow the Business

  1. Take personal responsibility for continued revenue and cultural growth of your studio.
  2. Train and inspire your full team on Black Tag Membership retention and growth goals.
  3. Partner with your District Manager to set studio goals.
  4. Provide solution-oriented feedback to your District Manager.
  5. Own the retail business within your studio.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
  2. Excellent oral communication skills and professionalism are essential.
  3. Completion of a relevant 200-hour teacher training or Yoga Sculpt program is required.
  4. Minimum of 1 year in customer service-oriented role required.
  5. Minimum of 1 year in operations or retail leadership experience preferred.

THE FINE PRINT

  1. 5-6 days a week/40+ hours a week.
  2. Availability must match the needs of the business.
  3. Must be able to move around the studio space and lift up to 25 lbs.
