Job Description
Position Overview:
As a result of our growth, we are seeking a Marketing Professional to lead strategy development, execution, marketing optimization, and reporting the measure of performance of key marketing initiatives. This new role will be responsible for driving engagement and lead generation for our market-leading solutions. Individuals will assist marketing team members in developing and defining strategies and processes to drive performance and provide guidance as needed. This is a hands-on role, balancing a blend of management and execution of digital and paid media. Individuals will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of trade shows and special events (these events will be in-person and virtual - events & webinars). This role will also include tracking and executing projects, coordinating with vendors, doing vendor research, and communicating programs and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a marketing communications strategy to drive preference and sales for Accutrol solutions. Execution involves tactical planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
- Generate compelling, engaging content to meet the needs and interests of various personas. Content types include video, blogs, case studies, infographics, presentations, and white papers.
- Own internal and external communication, identifying the most effective communication channels to reach relevant target groups and help to feed these channels with the appropriate messaging.
- Drive demand in marketplace through integrated campaigns leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels, from print advertising and point of sale displays to an ever-growing focus on digital, including search engine advertising, retargeting and email nurturing.
- Develop tools to support the needs of our internal regional managers, our large diverse representative sales force, and customers.
- Manage public relations agency activities, including strategy development, prioritization, budgeting, and reporting.
- Oversee coordination of multiple brand’s social media activities, including content plans, analysis, and reporting
- Collaborate across the organization with other departments and businesses on broader campaigns, trade shows and other industry events. Entails development of everything from presentations to product displays.
- Expected to develop thorough understanding of product features and benefits, positioning, and go-to-market strategy through close collaboration with product management, business development and brand management teams.
- Manage work through certain vendors as required (e.g., graphic designers, photographer, videographer, print vendor, etc.)
Education and/or Experience:
- BA/BS Degree in Communications, Marketing or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years marketing and communications experience
- Experience in tradeshow and event marketing a plus
- Proven success in strategy development, content marketing, public relations, and demand generation campaigns required.
- Experience in B-to-B marketing commercial products is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively and influence at all levels of an organization.
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop and similar software packages a plus
- Familiarity with automation platforms a plus
